UV 50
I have just reviewed your article on Orabrush. Thank you for reporting my story so accurately. Also, thank you for helping others to know what we are doing with tongue cleaning.
I knew that Orabrush was a very good product, however, I have been really surprised at the speed by which Orabrush has been accepted, not only in Utah, not only in the United States, but all over the world.
I predict that someday the name Orabrush will be associated with tongue cleaning just as KIeenex is associated with cleaning your nose.
Thans again for what you have done for Orabrush.
Sincerely,
Robert K Wagstaff, PhD. Founder, Orabrush Inc.

[...] But wait. There’s more. Being a magazine editor also means being an event planner — we’ve put on the UV50 Gala for three consecutive years. Three consecutively stressful years — mostly because I also wore the emcee hat for the night. And it doesn’t fit. (But don’t let that stop you from applying for the 2011 UV50.)
Interesting article. I was actually just visiting the Namifiers facility in Springville and just their reception area has a stocked mini-fridge and snacks for anyone that comes by. Though I didn't see their breakroom, I imagine that it's pretty nice if the reception area looks like it does.
I very much agree that if you can afford it, a nice breakroom and work environment are really worth the investment.

This article is very insightful and enlightening. It speaks to many of the topics explored in my graduate level Arts Entrepreneurship class. I particuarly appreciated Rule 95 because in the Arts and Entertainment industries especially, I think that it is easy to lose sight of the big picture when you are struggling to establish your business; it is easy to forget that you are doing what you do out of love and passion for the arts, regardless of the struggles and hardships.

I appreciate the fact that this article directly addresses the importance of balance and making time for oneself, especially for women business owners who are often wives and mothers as well. I was also wondering if Mrs. Devenish ever made a business decision that she regretted and if so, how did she resolve the issue or what did she learn from it?
